While you are working hard. The dogs at Alice In Wonderland Doggy Daycare are living the dogs life. AIWDD is an in home doggy daycare, with a personal touch. Open concept including an enclosed outside play are. For the dog that is wireless at home. We have a petsafe containment system. We use positive reinforcement in our game play. This helps teach basic manners. The games we play range from hide n seek, find it, fetch, follow the leader. Where is it. The days plans vary on the dogs that are here for that day. There is plenty of relaxing time. AIWDD is very much like childrens daycare. Not every daycare is a right fit for every dog. Give us a call and come "fetch" us out and "find" out if we are good fit for your fur legged family memeber.
Alice In Wonderland Doggy Daycare. began June of 2012. Before AIWDD I worked at a major pet store for over 5 years.
There I became a dog trainer.
Another one of my favorite parts, of my job there was being reasponsible for the health and daily care of the pets. Including cleaning and feeding as well as the wellness of the sick or injured pets. It was my job to put the animal first. Then I got 2 puppies and felt bad about leaving them every day. I looked for day cares in my area to take them to. I could not find one.. Between my 8 hour work day and my 2 hours of travel. That left my puppies for a minimum of 10 hours a day, if I had no other errands.
Then I had an idea. If I was having this issue. Others family's in my area must have the same dilema. This got me thinking (that is dangerouse). I love caring for pets. ,I am a dog trainer. a My children are all grown up, I have the space and the passion. I have a puppy named Alice. When I look at her I think Wonderland. The concept was born.
​ The concept of Alice In Wonderland Doggy Daycare is more than a place you just drop your dog off because you have to workor run errands. Aiwdd is mentally and physically a fun place your dogs will want to go.
At Alice in Wonderland Doggy Daycare it is a must. That dogs like one another. That is why we MUST meet every dog first. On a day they will not be coming to daycare. Just like with people. I am sure you know 2 people that you think are both great. But for some reason they do not like one another. Dogs are the same. Meet and Greet are always free and never on the day the new dog is going to start daycare. This is for the happiness of the dogs that are already here.
Alice in Wonderland Doggy Daycare is a home based daycare where we keep the number of dogs small. We schedule all dogs we do not have any drop offs. Sometimes we are out for a walk and no one would be here. We want to keep numbers small. Also random drop offs are very hard for some of the dogs that are here. You know what I mean if you have a dog that reacts to a knock on the door. We have a special nap time
